THINKING
Everyday our  lives are impacted  by powerful thoughts. Choosing to be positive with our thoughts, makes us more likely to follow them up with actions, leading to a positive outcome. Giving over to  think negatively, can result in destructive behavior. God doesn’t want us to struggle with wrong-thinking, which is why He gave us instructions to help us develop godly thinking.

Mindsets and attitudes shape thoughts. So, the object is to be aware of what thoughts go into our mind from our eyes and ears. Everyday we have an enormous amount of good and bad influences that are constantly competing for our thoughts. We ultimately control which thoughts and ideas we embrace and which ones we reject. This is our decision to make. No one can make your decisions for you. We become what we believe. Aligning our thoughts to be influenced and reflect the word of God, shows our love for him in our decision making process. As a result His protection is seen, keeping our minds safe.

If we let the world  be our guide and govern the way we think, we can be overwhelmed by wrong-thinking, which drags us down. Philosophies contradicting  what the Bible says is everywhere. One mans convictions spoken does not mean it’s true. Conforming our minds to man made philosophies only limits us. The consequences hold us back from achieving our true potential. The only thing we can count on is consistently reading and studying the unchanging truth of the bible, that leads to a radical transformation of the mind.

The backwards mind set and ideas of this world effects everyone. No one will escape that influence. When worldly philosophies permeate into our minds, eventually they cause the feeling of being trapped and in bondage. Meditating on the Scriptures is the only thing that brings supernatural renewal and refreshing to our thought life. The world tempts us to think in the natural, but the Scriptures teach us to think supernaturally about living.

"Thinking like Christ liberates us"

Prayer:
Lord, I accept  you are greater than the god of this world; you have no rival. I receive and believe  you want me to succeed in life with my thoughts. Your Word is my only decision and clear instruction for my thinking. I speak "I am free of all indecision, oppression, and fearful thoughts in Jesus name." Following you gives me victory over wrong-thinking. Thank You for revealing you are the truth about the power of the mind. Thank you for joy and peace right now. In Jesus’ name, amen.
